If you're a freelancer stylist or solo operator hair salon, you may not generate the amount of waste that warrants a "from-your-door" collection service. But that doesn't mean that you should be priced out of having a recycling solution!
Our Collection Hubs are convenient drop-off locations where you can bring your salon* recycling to have it collected and processed.
Join the program with an Collection Hub subscription at a fixed-cost that makes sense for a business of your size. Recycle 90% of your salon waste and make your contribution to the environment and the circular economy!
*Collection Hub subscriptions are a fixed price available to businesses seeing a maximum 20 of salon clients per week. Materials collected include hair, paper/cardboard, foil/metals, plastics, and broken appliances. Collection Hub service does not accept chemicals.
How it Works
Sign up for an Collection Hub subscription with Waste Free Systems, and nominate your preferred Collection Hub.
Use your own salon waste bins, or buy a set from us, to separate and bag your recycling in-salon.
Drop your bags off to your nominated Collection Hub as often as you like. We collect from our Hubs regularly and process all materials from there.
Collection Hubs are currently operating in South East Queensland. Stay tuned for further locations.
