Waste Free Systems began in 2016, helping hair salons become more sustainable, and working to repurpose salon waste into new products and materials.
Today, we service a broad range of small businesses that have one main thing in common; they want to divert the recoverable resources generated from serving their customers from landfill, and to be known in the community as taking their environmental impact seriously.
We are headquartered on the Sunshine Coast QLD, and operate across South East QLD, Melbourne, and Adelaide.
We operate our Adelaide collection service in partnership with Australia Wide Recyclers (AWR), a not for profit recycling charity. Their purpose is to help the environment while assisting disadvantaged communities in both Australia and overseas. They operate a network of donation bins across metropolitan Adelaide, collecting donations of unwanted household goods for reuse by disadvantaged persons and for sale through their op shop.
